Real-time lossless data compression for the FASER experiment

I am sharing my GSoC 2023 journey, working with the FASER collaboration to develop a real-time compression module for the experiment that reduced file sizes by 50%. The module integrates with the FASER Data Acquisition System (DAQ) and can perform seamlessly at high event rates.
