HSF Affiliated Project Badges

HSF affiliate projects are invited to use the following badges on their repository README files.

These badges are generated by shields.io (thank you!), by embedding an HSF SVG logo in the request URL.

We also have pre-cached versions available and these seem to work better for top level README files in GitHub.

These requests are quite big (6109 chars), but shields.io doesn’t seem to mind. However, issues have been found embedding the direct output from shields into a GitHub README, in which case used the direct cached link instead.
